Directors of Ball Sports have over time (both through Ball Sports and other organisations including grass roots football) provided opportunities for players to develop careers in professional football as well as a number of youngsters who are still hoping to benefit from opportunities at clubs with whom we have worked closely with including Manchester City, WBA, Birmingham City, Wolves Wrexham, Shrewsbury and Stoke City.

In 2016 we started working in partnership with Manchester City Football Club, this resulted in us setting up and running a Development Centre based in Oswestry.

A total of 7 players went on to enjoy further coaching at the City Academy at The Etihad and 3 of those players remain with Academy.

We continue to work with them and run school tournaments at the City Academy.
